Focusing in El Salvador

Research on Focusing and trauma in El Salvador
We are excited by the arrival at the end of February of Martina Oser from Germany, who has gotten approval this week to do her master's thesis in psychology on some aspect of Focusing and Trauma in El Salvador. Martina will be in El Salvador from February 28 to April 11, coordinating with us and our colleagues at the University of El Salvador on how to undertake the project.

We have a 40-page evaluation plan made for us by students in the Department of Public Health at the University of California last year, but it is not directed specifically at studying Focusing and trauma, and Martina's professor (who is a Focuser) would like her to concentrate on that.

A project that studies the effects of Focusing and Trauma will have to be done with time, sensitivity and respect. We will need funding in order to make Martina's research relevant and well-crafted. Contributions, large and small, are welcome!
